Altroconsumo ha offerto, ai nuovi abbonati, due numero della rivista ed uno smartphone Android al prezzo di 2€.

Lo smartphone Altroconsumo è un dispositivo discreto, non l’ho utilizzato a lungo ma ha prestazioni davvero sopra le mie aspettative!

Pur non avendolo ancora analizzato a fondo, sono riuscito ad ottenere il root dello smartphone per un accesso completo, per poter disinstallare le applicazioni di default e in generale poter fare tutto quello a cui siamo abituati.

Unbrick HTC One – HTC black screen with warning signs on edges

HTC RUU with alert signals

Today I had a problem while trying to return to stock my HTC One: I ended up having this HTC RUU Mode screen with warning logos on the edges and I found no way to get out of that; rebooting, even with VOL – pressed, brought me to that screen. I thought it was bricked, but don’t worry, there’s a solution!

My phone was S-ON and LOCKED, and it had a wrong CID: was set to HTC__405, which was not it’s original one, so I thought that there was a very little chance to recover it; however it can be done and it’s pretty simple (once you know what to do 😀 ).

I found out that, on that screen, fastboot OEM commands work. That doesn’t bring us directly to a solution, but it’s enough to start with!

Aumentare il volume su Galaxy Nexus

Il problema del suono basso sul Galaxy Nexus è conosciuto, ma la maggior parte delle soluzioni aumentano il volume solamente durante la riproduzione della musica e non durante le chiamate o per le notifiche.

Per chi ha un telefono sbloccato e con un recovery che permette di installare file ZIP, è invece possibile installare NexusLouder, un pacchetto contenente EIZO e Beats Audio.

Il primo è un equalizzatore pensato appositamente per aum
entare il volume d’uscita, oltre a fornire molte opzioni per migliorare la qualità dell’ascolto; il secondo è ormai conosciuto e fa lo stesso, senza l’incremento del volume, ma è pensato per l’utilizzo con cuffie e auricolari (anche se mi sembra eccellente EIZO per questo).
